Publicis Communications Group are a media company with strong links to the health industry. Publicis deal with a large number of web and print projects aimed at spreading news in this sector. It was involved with a social media marketing campaign promoting individual nurses who were recommended by colleagues all around the world.

The social media aspect involved drawing in published data from Facebook and Twitter, then displaying them as icons on a re-styled Google Map. Interactive elements built in HTML5, CSS and Javascript included forms for sharing details on social media, customised Google maps and YouTube video galleries with thumbnail previews. A customised twitter hashtag feed provided live data as the campaign developed.

I used Bootstrap as a responsive framework for this project, then adding layers of jQuery and native Javascript to provide additional functionality specific to the brief. The use of this framework helped me to complete a website which was consistent across multiple devices such as desktops, tablets and mobile phones, also saving substantial time in testing.
