High Tide Media was an innovative agency who i joined in 2002 and quickly learnt a host of new skills. The small size of the business meant that i had to cover a range of skills to complete new projects, including various print design work as well as my usual HTML and CSS work.
My time at this High Tide taught me a lot about the differences involved with working in agencies and more corporate companies, and it would be fair to say that i see the benefits with both. At High Tide we produced many websites for small companies in the Birmingham area and benefitted from our personal service which a larger agency would never have been able to match.
High Tide ceased trading several years ago but the staff have all moved on to bigger things since, aided by the considerable number of skills which we all picked up during our time here. My decision to leave at the time was due entirely to a desire to relocate to London.
